The Crew
The original. A clean ribbed neckline, dropped just so.
Basics makes one heavyweight cotton t‑shirt. Twelve colors. Three cuts. Sized so it actually fits. No logos, no seasons, no drops. Just the shirt.
Dyed in small lots in Porto. We restock the ones that sell. Some stay forever. Some don’t.

Cut a little deeper. For necks that don't mind a draft.
Same body, longer sleeves. The shoulder-season workhorse.
Boxy shoulder, straight body, hem that lands at the hip bone. Pre-washed so it stays where you bought it.
“We started Basics because we were tired of buying a new wardrobe twice a year. A great t‑shirt should outlive the trend it was photographed in.”
— Lina & Otto, founders
We make one shirt. We make it from long‑staple Portuguese cotton at 280 grams per square meter. We cut it in a small atelier in Lisbon. We dye it in small batches in Porto. We ship it in a paper sleeve. When it wears out — and it will, eventually — we’ll take it back and turn it into the next one.
That’s the whole company. There is no second product.
